The text enumerates possibilities of most often used methods, which nevertheless have small relation to mechanical state of coiling. It describes the method of calculation of possible coiling deformations from results of transformer measurement at reduced voltage. Then the text contains a concrete example of measurement and stresses its simplicity. The accuracy of results increases with concrete computational relations provided by the manufacturer of the particular machine. Although the machine is fed by low voltage, in some cases there may be found higher values of current in the measuring circuit. To reduce the strength of the currents to c. 32A, a special supply transformer has been developed and manufactured.
