Nomogram for calculation of insulation resistance
The insulation resistance depends on temperature. In working conditions, when it is necessary to make a quick decision about measured value, it is usually not possible to make calculations. Calculations according to rated temperature constants are only approximate and valid only for narrow temperature interval. Nomogram for fast conversion of measured value of insulation resistance into reference temperature 25°C also enables to assess the value of temperature constants. In practical use the nomogram authenticity is not limited by the mentioned scales, but it is possible to change place value of entered values. The text underlines the fact that the temperature constants vary with different coiling, i.e. for each switching on of measured coiling, the temperature constants are very likely to differ.
