The text describes the method based on the patent of prof. Dr. Ing. Jan Hlávka, DrSc, which enables to assess prospective breakdown voltage of stator insulation. It is non-destructive measurement based on the Cramer’s rule of dependence of insulation resistance on strength of measuring voltage. The value of prospective breakdown voltage is set on 95 percent probability level.
